About NFACPH
The NFACPH is a federation of associations for consumer protection. It acts not only in favour of its member organizations, but also for public interest, in conformity with the provisions of Law CLV. of 1997 on consumer protection. Among the aims of the Federation is the development of conscious consumers' behaviour, the education of professionals in the filed of consumer protection, the promotion of consumer interests.
NFACPH represents the interests of member organizations of the Federation and of consumers, especially:

it participates in working out of the national policies for consumer protection,

represents national consumer interests in the EU and in Hungary, pays attention to EU and national legislation on consumer protection and to consumer protection politics,
-
it promotes legislation considering consumers’ interests,

for ensuring and promoting consumers’ interests it establishes and maintains contacts with national and international organisations, institutions,
-
it organises exhibitions, conferences, demonstrations and issues publications,
-
it organises courses and lectures for adults,e.g. courses for pedagogues in consumer protection,
-
it informs the consumers about their rights, possibilities and obligations,
- gives legal assistance
- files a lawsuit in cases where a wide range of consumers is involved
